Sunroom Repair

The customer contacted us see if it was possible to save their curved glass sunroom that had rotted over time. They were faced with the decision to repair or demo the entire sunroom. I assured them that we could safely and affordably repair the substructure and knee wall. This involved supporting the curved glass structure while removing the rotten wooden support structure. We accomplished this by fabricating a number of adjustable jacks which were placed under the sunroom for support. Once the room was stabilized we removed the rotten material and rebuilt the foundation and knee wall. Once the structure was sound and stable the jacks were removed and the exterior was waterproofed and finished and the interior was trimmed out to the customers specification.
